Accessibility
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone, including patients who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment
Cardiology Associates of Central Brevard is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to people of all abilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for web accessibility.
What we’ve done
Specific steps we’ve taken include:
- Page text uses a larger base font size (18px) and a relaxed line-height, intended to help patients with low vision.
- All interactive elements have a visible focus indicator when using the keyboard.
- The site honors the operating-system “reduce motion” preference, disabling hover lifts and other animations.
- A “Skip to content” link is available as the first focusable element, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation.
- Images include descriptive text alternatives where they convey information; purely decorative graphics are marked accordingly.
- Color combinations on text and interactive elements are tested for contrast against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.
If you have trouble using this site
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, or if you encounter content that is inaccessible to you, please let us know. The fastest way to reach us is by phone:
Contact us about accessibility
Call (321) 726-0007 during office hours (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM). Tell our staff you’re calling about a website accessibility issue and we’ll help you directly or take your information to follow up.
Third-party content
Some parts of this site link to or embed content from third parties — for example the Google Maps embed on the homepage and Patient Resources video from YouTube. Accessibility on those third-party services is governed by their own policies.
Ongoing improvement
We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. If you let us know about a problem, we’ll work to address it.
